4-Tell Boost™ - Volusion Plugin

Volusion integration is simple!

Here are the Volusion Quick Start steps:

1. Sign Up Here: Pricing info is on our pricing page, and we offer a 30 day risk-free trial with no cancellation penalties.  In order to complete the sign up you will need to provide credit card information for billing.
2. Email Confirmation: You'll receive an email confirming your sign up for our service. In this email, we will ask you to grant us admin access to your Volusion site. This just consists of an admin username and password you can provide via email or phone. We'll add some javascript (code) to your site, and setup exports for your catalog and sales history.

   When creating our account, be sure the access key is set to Administrator. Save settings, and you will see a link to edit the Access Rules. Please provide at least the following permissions:

   Database Tables > Products

   Database Tables > Orders

   Admin Area Sections > Export

   Admin Area Sections > Import

   Admin Area Sections > File Editor

   Admin Area Sections > StoreStats 

   Admin Area Sections > API

   Note: We will not import or edit any of your data. These permissions are required so that we can create saved exports and access the site API.

3. We will also need FTP access to your site.  Volusion controls this through a separate login to your my.volusion.com page.  If you know your FTP credentials, please provide us with the username and password. Otherwise, FTP setup instructions can be found here: http://support.volusion.com/article/setting-your-volusion-ftp-account
   If you prefer, you can provide us with your my.volusion login and we can setup the FTP connection from there.
4. Please let us know which Volusion tier you are in: Steel, Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum. This helps us identify your template and makes integration faster.
5. Lastly, we'll send you an Integration Site Plan email. This will show you what we are planning and allow you to adjust where and how we display the recommendations.
