3. Please let us know if you are a 3dcart Tier Standard (< $199 –Mini, Starter, Gold, Professional, Power) or Enterprise (>= $199 –Premium, Dedicated, Duo) customer. This helps us identify your template and makes integration faster.
4. We’ll send you an Integration Site Plan email. This will tell you what we are planning and allow you to adjust where and how to display the recommendations. We will match your site style sheet settings, and you have complete control over where to place the recommendations (i.e. home, product listings, cart, etc.) All the code we install is available for you to review and customize if desired.
5. Live Instantly: Once we have updated your templates, personalized cross-sell & up-sell recommendations will immediately be displayed in real-time, on-demand, and our service will automatically extract data from your site to keep them up to date.

4-Tell’s a Silver Industry Partner of Magento’s. We’ve built the 4-Tell Boost Recommendations 4 Web extension which means getting product recommendations in your Magento store is fast, easy and best of all, free!

Integration of the Magento extension takes less than an hour. Just follow these simple steps to get 4-Tell product recommendations in your store today:

1. Sign-up for your 4-Tell account. You will receive a welcome email with your account details.
2. Install our free extension from the Magento Connect site. Note that you must select the correct version of Magento Connect depending on your version of Magento. Check here for version details.
3. Turn on the 4-Tell Recommendation Service From your Magento account admin page.
4. Setup the system to upload your data on a regular basis from the Upload Management page.
5. Once you have done this, recommendations will start showing on your site. If your template was already setup to use Magento’s manual recommendations, ours will replace them according to your admin settings above. To add recommendations on other pages, this extension adds a widget to your widget manager. Details on how to use widgets can be found here.

osCommerce integration is simple to get 4-Tell product recommendations in your store today:

1. Sign up for Your Client Alias
   Sign up here to activate your free trial and receive your Client Alias. There are no up-front fees or consulting required, and you will not be charged unless you continue using the service after the free trial period.
2. Install the New Code Pages on Your Site
   You will receive an email with some instructions and a few files to upload to your site.  
3. Edit Your Configuration Settings
   Edit the file: 4-Tell/4-tell-configure.php to adjust your user settings. The extension will not work until you insert your Client Alias into this file. Then set the data upload parameters.
4. Schedule Data Uploads
   The file: 4-tell-upload.php contains all the functions necessary to upload your data to our service. Load this page in your server’s browser to get the service started. Then schedule this script to run nightly or weekly depending on your site traffic.
